  • Nayel Nassar
  • Competing for: Egypt

Nayel Nassar (EGY) first tried equestrian sport around age five at a riding centre in Kuwait. He began jumping around age ten, and his parents bought him his first horse soon after. Despite trying many sports as a child, riding was the one that stuck. Currently ranked number one in the Longines FEI World Cup™ North American Western Sub league, Nayel has proven to be a motivated competitor internationally, qualifying for the FEI World Cup™ Finals in 2013 and 2014, and the FEI World Equestrian Games™ in 2014.

Born in Chicago, IL, Nayel currently rides for Egypt, which is his parents' homeland. Nayel's idol is German showjumper Ludger Beerbaum, and his goal is to win an Olympic medal. Nayel speaks Arabic, French, English and German.
