Previously ridden by France’s Aymeric de Ponnat and Penelope Leprevost, and Ireland’s Trevor Coyle, Jubilee D’Ouilly is a hot little Thoroughbred-type mare who caught Laura Kraut’s eye jumping under other international riders. “I felt she would suit me,” says Laura.
‘Jubi’ was difficult to manage as a young horse and took a while to show her true talent. In 2007 she won the Longines King George V Gold Cup Grand Prix at Hickstead, with Ponnat in the saddle. In 2009 Jubi and Leprevost jumped a key double clear in the Aachen Nations Cup, helping France to a win that year.
Laura Kraut took over the ride on Jubi after Trevor Coyle suffered an injury towards the end of 2012.
Jubilee D’Ouilly is owned by Alexandra and François-Xavier Lebon.
