Riders and Horses warm up in picturesque Chantilly ahead of this weekend's Grand Prix

In the heart of French horse country the world’s best have been limbering up in the stunning surroundings of Chantilly, preparing for show jumping competition at the very highest level. 

This weekend the Tour returns to France, and the tenth leg of the Championship race will play out on the stunning grass arena in front of passionate horse enthusiasts around the world who collect at this famous destination, renowned for its horse racing, chateau and, of course, Chantilly cream. 

Riders were able to stretch the legs of their horses in both the warm up and main Piste Meautry , which is watched over by the stunning Musée Vivant du Cheval (Living Horse Museum), created by Yves Bienaimé in 1982, where the equestrian world of the past and present is brought to life. With sunny skies and soaring temperatures the anticipation is building ahead of the weekend's action, as world number 1 Scott Brash looks to continue his form and take the lead from ranking leader Luciana Diniz. 

The first of the CSI5* competitions kicks off at 08:15 local time, with many of this weekends top combinations in action ahead of the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Chantilly.
