Season 2014

The magical back-drop of Port d’Hercule and the Prince’s Palace in Monaco will once again provide a spectacular venue for the sixth leg of the LONGINES GLOBAL CHAMPIONS TOUR from the 26-28th June. The three-day feast of world-class show jumping alongside the world-famous harbour of Monte-Carlo will deliver fantastic entertainment for all as the Tour approaches its half-way point.

The best international riders and horses will descend on the Principality to face challenging technical courses in one of the smallest arenas on the Tour. Leading up to the main event of the Longines Global Champions Tour weekend – the Prince Albert II of Monaco Grand Prix - there is much to sample in the way of glamorous local culture in this beguiling little city.

The enchanting Riviera location and luxurious facilities at the Monaco event combine to deliver a stunning experience for families, VIPs, sponsors, owners and riders. Monaco, which also plays host to Formula One and ATP Masters tennis, is a hub of sport with many high-profile fans in attendance. Over the years, HH Prince Albert II of Monaco and members of the Royal Family have joined business leaders and celebrities including James Bond legend Sir Roger Moore to cheer on the riders.

All the sporting action takes place in the unique arena, in this spectacular harbour setting, at the foot of Le Rocher’s steep ramparts in the centre of old Monte Carlo. Last year’s winner, USA’s Richard Spooner, has claimed the title three times and is somewhat of a Monaco specialist - will any of the other top international riders else be able to beat him to the top spot this year?
