Welcome to Monaco for three days of spectacular international equestrian sport in this world famous destination.

Located alongside Port d’Hercule, at the foot of the Rocher’s steep ramparts, this enchanting setting for the 5th leg of the Global Champions Tour is an unmissable fixture on the sporting calendar.

The unique arena only a few metres from the Mediterranean will see the world’s top riders and horses competing against a backdrop of beautiful yachts and, of course, the Prince’s Palace.

The combination of meticulous organisation and the chic and fun atmosphere of Monaco will offer a fantastic experience for competitors, spectators and sponsors alike.

The climax of this leg of the Global Champions Tour will be the Prince Albert II of Monaco Grand Prix on Saturday when the stage will be set for a thrilling competition for crucial ranking points and prize money.

This year’s course for the 2011 Jumping International of Monte-Carlo will be a real technical challenge for the world’s best - just as the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit in Monaco puts the top drivers to the test.

The GCT Grand Prix will be broadcast live on Eurosport (see home page for broadcast times) and you can see all the action from the main classes on GCT Live.

This year the popular Monaco Pro-Am Cup, a new concept in team show jumping created by Charlotte Casiraghi in collaboration with GCT President Jan Tops, will see amateur and professional riders competing to deliver victory for their sponsors.

And in a new addition the Masoni Pony Cup of Monaco will give “the riders of tomorrow” the opportunity to show off their skills and be inspired by the world’s best.
