Biography

A successful Junior and Young Rider Philip has been a member of the German team this season at La Baule and Rome. He also won a speed class at the former show on Leoville, a horse who had a few weeks earlier done the same thing at the World Cup Final in Geneve. He was the winner of the 4* Grand Prix in Vigo, Portugal this year with Catoki. That horse was also second in the Grand Prix of Bordeaux. He has only had the ride on this stallion since 2009 and the horse has to combine breeding duties with his jumping but according to Philip "he never seems to tire of the game." Phillip has been a stable jockey for Ludger Beerbaum since 2003 and is hoping that in 2010 he will qualify and be selected for the World Championships which "would be an incredible finish to a year which has already made my dreams come true."
