Biography

The 2008 Olympic Silver Medallist riding Ninja la Silla, Rolf is based in Germany and continues to be in the forefront of world show jumping. He helped his country to a team silver at the 2004 Olympics with a clear round on Macinley and won another individual silver medal at the 2000 European Championships this time on Pialotta.

He has ridden in numerous other championship teams for Sweden and is a sporting icon in his home country. He is the individual silver medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games riding Ninja La Silla.

In 2009 he was placed in the GCT Grand Prix's of Italy, Spain and Holland and represented Sweden at the European Championships. He won the 5* Paris Grand Prix on Casall le Silla who has performed just as well in 2010 so far with wins in the GP's of Rotterdam and Falsterbro, both 5* shows. At the latter Rolf also jumped the double clear round needed for Sweden to win the Nations Cup there.

A 3rd placing in the FEI World Cup qualification event at CSI5*-W Verona (ITA) in November 2010, followed his 5th place success at the FEI world cup qualification at teh CSI5*-W Lyon (FRA) and the Nations Cup win at Fasterbo, Sweden in 2010 The year 2011 started in earnest with a 3rd place in the Grand Prix at CSI5*-W Zurich (SUI) before he started his Global Champions Tour in Doha, Qatar.

Success in 2011 with two Global Champion Tour wins in Hamburg and Monaco riding Casall La Silla. The same combination won the Bremen, Germany Grand prix in 2011.
