Biography

Patrick McEntee represented Belgium at the European Championships for seniors in 2007. He has been riding for Catherine de Buyl for some years now and recently decided to change nationality and ride for Azerbaijan. "But nothing else has changed" he said, "I still ride for Catherine and our goal is still major championships."

McEntee seldom displays excessive speed and risks in his rides but his consistency has led him high up the GCT ladder in 2009, finishing 3rd after Edwina Alexander and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. He ended the 2010 season in 8^th place. His best results are a 5^th place both in Turin and Estoril.

Patricks main goal in 2011 is the Global Champions Tour: “If my horses, Ever Murry Marais and Dollar Murry Marais stay well, you’ll see me a lot this year”.
