Biography

Denis has been based in Switzerland with the family Straumann for many years now. He has had many successes riding their string of horses over the last few years which include Lantinus 3 and All Inclusive .

Denis won the opening leg of the GCT series in 2008 with Latinus and subsequently took that horse to the Olympic Games in Beijing.

Denis has also represented Ireland at many Nations Cups and was part of the team which help his country regain Super League status at the end of 2007.  In 2010 he was a member of Ireland's winning team at the Aachen CHIO Nations Cup.  

In 2010 Denis placed 2nd in the Global Champions Tour Valkenswaard event with Lantinus and 2nd place at the GCT Rio de Janeiro event with All Inclusive. He finished the season ranked 16th overall on the GCT ranking.

Maintaining his position as one of the world's top 30 riders since 2008 has meant that Denis has regularly competed on the Global Champions Tour.  In 2011 Denis has placed in the top 10 at Doha, Valencia and Cannes events and sits in the top 10 GCT Ranking chart.
