Biography

A member of several Swiss Championship teams including the gold medal winning one from the 2009 European Championships, Pius in 2010 was ranked number one in the world (May 2010).

Pius was a memeber of the Swiss team who the bronze team medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic games following the disqualification of Norwegian rider Tony Andre Hansen.

He was third in the 2010 World Cup Final in Geneve riding his best horse Carlina.  He also won team bronze at the 2008 Olympic Games.

Pius has begun the 2011 season well with a 2nd place at the GCT Doha event with Carlina.  He was placed 2nd in the CSI5* WC qualifier in Zurich with Carlina and won the  CSI4* Championate at Linz, Austria in May with Verdi III.
