Biography

Leopold rides for the VDL Groep and has a sting of talented horses.

Winner of the GCT of Portugal Grand Prix in Estoril during 2009, Leopold was also placed in Valkensward and Hamburg with his grey mare VDL Groep Santana B.

A member of the Dutch Team at the Olympic Games in Athens, 2004,  where they placed 4th overall.

Leopold has represented the Netherlands at the European Championships in 2003 and then at the Olympic Games 2004 where his team finished fourth. He is a big football fan and attends matches of PSV Eindhoven as often as he can. He credits his success to his parents and his sponsor, the VDL Groep and is trained by Dutch master Henk Nooren. 

In 2011Leopold has competed at GCT Estoril winning a feature 5* class with VDL Groep Amelie.
