Global Champions Tour 2012 will reach spectacular new destinations to compliment the fantastic venues of the world’s most prestigious show jumping circuit.

From the heart of sophisticated Vienna to the soaring skyscrapers of modern day Shanghai. From Lausanne on the shores of Lake Geneva to the historic spa town of Wiesbaden. The GCT 2012 calendar is poised to deliver another stunning, action-packed year of world class show jumping around the globe.

Our sport is growing all the time on the international stage with increasing interest from sponsors, media and fans. Regions like the Middle East and Far East are showing the kind of passion for show jumping that has thrilled Europeans for many years.

The sheer talent and sporting prowess of horses and riders on the Global Champions Tour are at an all-time high and seem to push new boundaries each year. Now with 13 events  in 10 countries competition for GCT ranking points and prize money will be even hotter.  I am delighted that Eurosport, Al Jazeera and a host of national TV networks will again be broadcasting GCT events to millions of households with audience numbers set for a new record in this special Olympic year.
