Small Tour Final – Table A with Jump-off

Homeland victory today for Dutchman Henk van de Pol with his Carbas mare ‘Flicka’ in the Small Tour competition that saw 41 strong combinations start. “This 9 year old mare is very, very quick,” Henk said after the round. “ The plan was always to try to win the class as I attempted to do yesterday. If we had not had one down then, we would have won that class also as we had the fastest time. She is a nice second team horse, not a Grand Prix horse, but a winner of classes at this level.”

Jody Bosteels (BEL) scored another good placing to his scorecard for the day, this time a to second place with Coconut 27. This imposing grey ‘Concorde’ gelding has place very consistently over the Global Champions Tour events throughout the series tis year and a great team horse for the Belgium rider.
Swedish competitor Mathilda Karlsson placed third with her super grey Stallion Cassinus Z.
