Invitational 1.20m – Table A against the clock

Brazilian lady rider Isabella Salles (above) continues with success today winning the Special Invitational 1.20m with Mosman van de Most’s grey mare ‘Umora’ in a time of 57.82.

Following on her 2nd placing in the 1.35m with another of her team Isabella has finished the day with top success.
She beat home Belgium rider Stephanie Andries bettering her time of 60.63 by over 3 seconds.

Stephanie, who rode her own horse Cicero, (above) was having her first start at the famous Valkenswaard Horse Festival. “ Really this is the first time to compete here and I am very happy wit how things have gone,” she said. “A group of us decided to share the costs of coming here, taking a VIP table and entering our horses. We are having a great time. Of course doing well is very good and I hope that it stays like this over the two weeks of competition.”
Being a partner of a dealer has difficulties of its own she explains. “I ride horses with my partner Carl Cox, and the horses don’t often stay with us for long. However, this horse was bought for me by my parents about a year and a half ago and it is here to stay for me. He is a very nice horse and does everything to stay clean and help me out. He is a great amateur horse.”
Italian rider Maddalena Valenzano Menada to third place with Quidana (below) fulfilling a good day for her team also as her team rider Mark McAuley placed 3rd in the previous Medium Tour 1.40m.
