The Denis Lynch charity for Irish Horses suffering due to the economic crisis was presented last weekend at the Global Champions Tour show in Hamburg.
The Global Champions Tour supports Denis Lynch in his effort to collect money for the follow up on the horses that are rescued after being left to survive on their own. The information folders on the charity and a possibility to donate money into the special collection boxes will be available at every GCT event and can be found at the GCT stand along with the merchandise of the tour.
In Hamburg as well as in the coming events – the collection will also be done during the main classes of the show with the support of the GCT team and the local organizers.
Denis himself was very pleased in Hamburg over the reactions to the charity – ”When I started this project, I was hoping to be able to use my contacts and my name to help to raise money for the ISPCA but also to make people aware of the problem. The support of the Global Tour has been amazing as it makes people realize how important the welfare of the horse is for our sport, also on top level.” says the number 4 ranked rider of the world. ”Co-operating with my sponsor Mr Straumann and with Mr Tops from the GCT with this charity takes the process further and is for me important”, Denis says.
Denis hopes that people will use the information on the folders and donate money to his cause during the summer months and that will help the ISPCA to manage the tough winter months to avoid an even bigger equine crisis in Ireland.
A special meet and greet with Denis to attract peoples attention and to get the information about the cause out even more to the media, is planned for the coming events – with the first following show in Cannes and then in Monte Carlo.
The representatives of the Global Champions tour will also be present to provide information on the possibilities to help for the Denis Lynch charity. More information on the charity can be found on the website of the Global Champions Tour as well as on the website of Denis Lynch.
