Despite ending his Grand Prix of Germany in 5th place with AD Ashleigh Drossel Dan (pictured left) he managed to still top the leader board with 98 points (40 points in Doha + 26 points in Valencia and 32 points in Hamburg).
Ludger Beerabum (Germany) sits in second position with 93.50 points after placing second in both Valencia and Hamburg earning 37 points each time adding to his shared 17th placed points of 19.50 in Doha.
Irishman Denis Lynch has continued to be consistently placed in the first three rounds of the GCT series this year resulting in his third placing on the GCT ranking list with 88 points. At the conclusion of the GCT Grand Prix of Germany where he placed 13th, with one time fault in the first round and one down in the second round, he had added a further 24 points to his 64 points collected for placing 5th each time in Doha and Valencia.
Also on the march up the GCT rankings is Australian Edwina Alexander (4th) and Dutch rider Gerco Schroder (6th). Edwina has been competing on the young Grand prix horse Ciske van Overis in Doha and the more experience horse Cevo Itot du Chateau in Valencia and Hamburg. Gerco rode Eurocommerce New Orleans in Doha and Eurocommerce London in Valencia and Hamburg.
The Global champions Tour now moves to Cannes 9-11th June. Cannes Jumping International celebrates their 30th Anniversary this year and the event will be filled with great show jumping and exciting social activities.
