GCT Hamburg- Rider Acceptances

The winners of the first two legs of the 2011 Global Champions Tour series have accepted to ride at the GCT Hamburg event (June1-5).

Brazilian Alvaro de Miranda Neto (Doda) intends to start AD Ashleigh Drossel Dan. (pictured left at GCT Valencia) He remains top of the GCT ranking (66 points) after the win in Doha, Qatar and 11th placing in the GCT of Spain Grand Prix Valencia.

Denis Lynch (Ireland) is his nearest rival in second place on the GCT ranking list (64 points) as he took 5th place in Doha and 4th place at the Valencia event. He too has accepted to ride at the GCT Hamburg event.

Fellow countryman Billy Twomey, winner of the second leg of the 2011 Global Champions tour held in Valencia, Spain last month, (pictured below) is joined in Hamburg by two other Irish riders in Cian O'Connor and Shane Bree all of whom are top billed FEI Ranked riders. The two latter riders did not compete at the first two legs of the 2011 Global Champions Tour. Billy is currently 7th on the Global Champions Tour Ranking.
