Jaeger Le-Coultre at the Global Champions Tour Final in Abu Dhabi

Jaeger-LeCoultre watch making and Global Champions Tour show jumping have this in common.

As the final of the Global Champions Tour draws very near Jaeger-LeCoultre are also making preparations for their presence at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort from 24-26th November.

Timekeeping sponsors of the GCT for the second year, Jaeger-LeCoultre will present a beautifully engraved Reverso watch to the winner of the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi -   a stunning momento for a spectacular equestrian sporting success.

A perfect prize for the equestrian as the reversible watch was invented in the 1930s for polo players who wanted to be able to protect the crystals of their watches.

The Global Champions Tour 2011 series coincides with the 80th anniversary of Jaeger-LeCoultre's iconic swivel watch with two faces, the "Reverso".    

During the 2011 season JaegerLe-Coultre has presented Reverso watches to the winners of the GCT Grand Prix in Hamburg, Cannes, Monte Carlo, Estoril, Valkenswaard, and Rio de Janeiro.

Champion of the 2011 Global Champions Tour series will be presented with a Jaeger-LeCoultre ‘Atmos’ timepiece.

Regarding as a reference among clocks, the Atmos has been literally living on air since 1928. The secret of the Atmos clock lies in its unique mechanism and design. The Atmos has become the official gift of the swiss confederation. Some of the famous names who received one include John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Sir Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin …

One specific model will be engraved for the winner of the Global Champions Tour.
