The Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, realises a total prize money cache of €400.000 divided as follows:
1st €.130.000, 2nd €.84.000, 3rd €.50.000, 4th €.32.000, 5th €.22.000, 6th€.13.000, 7th €.12.000, 8th to 11th € 8.000 each, 12th to 15th € 4.000 each, 16th to 18th € 3.000 each
Rolf Goran-Bengtsson, (left) winner of the Global Champions Tours in Hamburg and Monaco and newly crowned European Champion will be competing in Abu Dhabi.
Ludger Beerbaum would not miss going to Abu Dhabi. He will battle it out with Edwina Alexander for the top cheque of the extra one million euros to be shelled out amongst the 18 GCT highest ranked riders at the conclusion of the series. Presentations will take place in Abu Dhabi.

Marco Kutscher, second overall in the GCT ranking in 2010 and currently laying in 9th place has also secured a spot on the flight to Abu Dhabi.
Dutch Young gun 23 year old Maikel van der Vleuten is set for the Abu Dhabi event. Maikel was place third in the GCT Grand Prix of Spain in Valencia earlier in the 2011 season.
