Al Forsan features five world class sports for novices to professional and includes a comprehensive Shooting area, Water Sports area featuring the first cable ski lakes in the Middle East, Equestrian Centre, Motor Sports and themed indoor air conditioned Paintball fields.  Each one of these sports is built to international standards and offer outstanding facilities and services.  The Resort also offers a full size football pitch, tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts.

The Equestrian centre offers outdoor and air conditioned indoor arenas for training and lessons, a fully floodlit polo field that is ideal for international or local polo matches, large events and gatherings, world class stable facilities that meet international standards, show jumping courses, private horse riding tuition, full livery services and indoor air conditioned stables for up to 167 horses.

For high-speed thrills, the Motor Sports Centre is a perfect day out. The 1.2 km CIK approved professional circuit offers a challenging and exhilarating experience for beginners and advanced drivers. It was designed and homologated by the CIK (Commission Internationale De Karting), which is the international FIA approved body for kart racing. Al Forsan is an ideal venue for endurance and grand prix racing, off-road karting and kids karting.

The centre has a karting circuit, including a Supermoto section that meets FIM regulations, three globally-recognized types of kart that can reach speeds of between 30 mph and 70 mph, and a monitored circuit with cameras to catch all the action. It is an ideal activity for corporate and team-building events, and birthday parties. Other facilities and services include twin-seat and 270cc karts, beginner and advanced tuition, briefing rooms, a service support centre with full-sized paddock, and kids karting track. Buggy riding across an off-road circuit is also available.

For more aqua-based fun, the Water Sports Centre is an ideal stop-off. It is home to the region’s first Cable Park (an over-head cable system built around the banks of a freshwater lake that pulls wake boarders and water-skiers along at speeds of 29-38 kph).  There are two man-made lakes (one each for beginners and more experienced riders respectively) for visitors to indulge in their favorite water sports. The centre also has a pro shop to rent and buy equipment, tutors and safety equipment. 

Back on dry land, the Paintball fields are perfect for letting off steam. There are three indoor, air-conditioned domes for players to roam around during paintball shoot-outs with rival gunners. Each arena has a different theme including the Wild West and World War II Pacific Island Zone.  The centre also has an international standard, fully floodlit tournament field for the best paintballers in town.

Over at the Shooting facilities, visitors will find a facility that caters to both novices that have never fired a gun before to expert, Olympic-standard shooters. The centre is the first in the Gulf to offer Olympic discipline and sporting clays combined with handgun and rifle ranges. Coaching for all skill levels and a host of facilities suited to international shooting competitions are also available.  In total, the centre has 18 sporting clay ranges with four different traps and additional four air-conditioned clay ranges based in luxurious pavilions with verandas; Olympic / Double trap fields with electronic voice release and world-class La Porte traps; and indoor laser simulators for family fun. There are also 10 archery lanes ranging from 5 to 60 meters in distance.

Additionally, culinary connoisseurs are invited to enjoy a rich range of dining options at the Resort with five specialty restaurants and lounges.  They include international specialties at The Café and The Terrace, Asian choices at Asian Zenses, gourmet and grills at The Lodge and casual and relaxed options at Wave located in the Water Sports area.

The Resort also offers a comprehensive conference centre and unique outdoor function spaces and caters to meetings, conferences, incentives, team building, gala dinners and corporate gatherings with a number of meeting spaces equipped with high tech audio visual facilities.  The Resort can accommodate small to large events offering a range of venues and providing high service standards.
