Must see:

Fabrik Kultur und Kommunikationszentrum: Barnerstrasse 36 Hambourg. Hamburg surely is a great city to party, and this is one of the places to go. Bands of every kind of music often perform in the old factory building. Music lovers and onlookers will enjoy this very original place.

Church of St Michael: Englische Planke 1a Hambourg. Built in the 1760’s, this church is Northern Germany’s most important baroque one. Once again, one will have to be brave to climb the 453 steps of the 132 meters-high tower in order to admire the breathtaking panorama of the whole city. On the way up, look for the strangest clock you’ll ever see in a church.

The Harbor: Hamburg’s harbor is the most important of Germany and the third most important of Europe. It surely is a place to visit: although not architecturally startling, the atmosphere there is tremendous.

Modelleisenbahn Miniatur Wunderland: : For models and miniatures lovers, this is the place to go. Inside one of the docks? oldest buildings is the longest electrical train in the whole world.?700 trains run along 9000 meters of railway tracks in six different rooms. The building also houses a toy museum. Children will not be the only ones thrilled by this unique place.

Where to eat?

Stocker: Max-Brauer-Allee 80. In this restaurant, the chef proposes European food, and more precisely German and Austrian cooking. The staff is so nice that you will recognize Germans’ legendary hospitality and good nature.

Salam City: : Steinstr. 27, 20095. Located in the center of Hamburg, this small Lebanese restaurant is a very good place to have a quick lunch. The food is delicious, the owners as kind as one can be, and the prices are fair! Do not hesitate to walk in.
